Getting to Lembongan from Bali

Nusa Lembongan is reached by boat from Bali. Sanur is a common departure point for visitors travelling to the island. Choose a boat operator and confirm the current departure port, destination, sailing time and check-in requirements directly before arranging your journey.

Allow time to reach the port from your Bali accommodation as well as time for check-in. The boat crossing is one part of the journey: luggage collection and onward island transport also need room in your plan. For independently booked crossings, confirm the operator’s current timetable. When you arrive on the island

Confirm your boat’s arrival point and how you will reach your accommodation or the snorkelling meeting point. Share your accommodation name and location with reservations when asking about pickup.

Regular trip only: Jungutbatu pickup is free at around 7:40 am Bali time. Lembongan village, Mushroom, Dream Beach, Sunset Beach pickup costs IDR 50,000 per person for the one-way pickup only; be ready at hotel reception at 7:30 am. Without pickup, arrive at Pisang Pisang Restaurant before 7:45 am. Ceningan pickup can only be arranged at the start of the Yellow Bridge on the Nusa Lembongan side; pickup is around 7:30 am and costs IDR 50,000 per person for one-way pickup. All pickup times are estimates and will be confirmed after booking. Return transport is not promised by the pickup charge. The regular trip departs at 8:00 am Bali time.

Can you snorkel on the day you arrive?

Ask the team to check your proposed crossing against the tour schedule before booking either connection. Allow flexibility for sea conditions and delays rather than planning around the tightest possible transfer.

If you are staying in Bali and returning the same day, start with the Bali day-trip enquiry. It includes return hotel transfers in Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, a planned 9:30 am Sanur ferry and 4:00 pm return ferry. The return hotel transfer begins around 5:00 pm from Sanur; hotel arrival depends on location and traffic. Wait for your exact pickup and connection details before committing to other timed activities.

Flying or travelling onward after your trip

A boat connection can change with conditions. Keep space between your snorkelling day, return crossing and any flight or other essential departure. Confirm the return arrangements and contingency options with the relevant operators.

• Ask how changes or cancellations are communicated.
• Check transport at both ends of the crossing.
